How do I find people to beta-test my interactive fiction game?

It's also good to develop relations with other authors or enthusiasts. Often, people can reciprocally test games. Doing things like writing (reasonable) reviews can also increase your profile and make people more willing to try your game.

 

You can get beta testers from friends outside the community by laying down what needs to be looked at. It's a bit trickier, but their input can help for user friendliness.
