I've seen links to Baf's Guide to Interactive Fiction <http://wurb.com/if/> on different websites, but it always seems to be down.

Baf's Guide is apparently permanently offline, but when IFDB started it transferred everything from Baf's Guide to its own database. So while Baf's Guide is inaccessible virtually all of its contents are available on IFDB.

If you have a direct link to a game on Baf's Guide, you can search the game on IFDB using Baf's identifier (in addition to the game's name of course) with the search term bafs:xx where xx is the identifier. The identifier is the number in the URL. For example, if you find a link that looks like http://wurb.com/if/game/17.html the identifier is 17. You can search it on IFDB with bafs:17.

Baf's Guide has been down for years. As far as we know, it has been taken down permanently. You're better off going to IFDB or IFWiki for information on interactive fiction works.
